This is the first publication of Brazilian Concrete Poetry in a non-poetry magazine. It was published as a review of an exhibition, "exposicao nacional de arte concreo" held at the museu de arte moderno, Sao Paulo December 4-18, 1956. Helio Oticica and Lygia Clark were among the artists who showed in this exhibition. The concrete poetry that is reproduced in this magazine appears to have been mostly generated with typing.
