U.S. PISTOL MODEL 1911 .45 SN# 532492
Manufactured by Colt, Hartford, Ct. in 1918 - Is this full-auto. Shipped to Infantry Det., Del Rio, Tx., 1/16/19. Blued finish with checkered wood grips. Tested by Cavalry Board at Ft. Reilly. Weapon complete with 7-round magazine. Left upper grip screw missing. Colt manufactured 347,000 M1911s in 1918.

Weapon transferred to the Museum on 3 April 1933. At that time pistol was appraised at $25.00.
