Object Description:
COLT PISTOL NATIONAL MATCH .45 SN# 241NM
Manufactured by Colt, Hartford, Ct. - Factory prepared target version of the M1911. All components were hand-fitted and finished at Colt factory. Match grade barrel. Stevens grade adjustable rear target sight, ramp front target sight. 7-shot detachable box magazine feed. Weapon weighs approximately 37 oz. Magazine missing.

Frame: 241 NM.
Slide: NATIONAL/MATCH. COLT. AUTOMATIC/CALIBER .45 Rampant Colt. Right side: Colt's PT. F.A. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A.
Barrel: COLT .45 AUTO N.M.
Triggerguad: VP in triangle.
Grips: COLT medallion on both sides.
Weapon transferred to the Museum on 3 December 1959.
