"According to Joesph Polcetti, old museum employee, this piece was a normal Woodsman that was borrowed form the museum by the FBI in the 1960s - when it was returned, the barrel was threaded, apparently for a silencer. Joe feels they were trying to duplicate a shooting with a simlar weapon used in the crime." - William E. Meuse, NPS Curator, 11/15/1989
