Object Description:

FRENCH PISTOL FRANCO 6.35MM SN# 876Y
Manufactured by MANUFRANCE, St. Etienne, France - French Franco pistol. Blowback operated, semi-automatic pistol with 6-round box magazine feed mechanism. Hinged drop-down barrel and self-cocking striker. No extractor in this design, fired cases are blown clear by residual gas pressure in barrel after firing. Magazine bottom plate missing. Original plastic grips replaced by clear plexiglass panels.
