GERMAN SUBMACHINE GUN MP35/I 9MM SN# 132e
Manufactured by Junker & Ruh A.G., Karlsruhe, Germany - Standard German Bergmann MP 35/I in 9mm. Blowback-operated. Select fire. Cyclic rate of fire 650 rpm. Weighs 8 lbs. 9 oz. unloaded. Fires from open bolt. Weapon feeds from the right side. Short barrel version. Blue finish. Stock cracked through wrist, rear sight leaf, and lower sling swivel missing.
Markings:
Receiver: MP35/I AJF 44. 132e stamped on all major parts.
Notes: Weapon manufactured almost exclusively for use by the SS. No more than 40,000 manufactured. Cartridge: 9mm Parabellum
"Designed by Theodor Bergmann and introduced in 1934, this submachine gun was built in Germany by Walther and later Junker and Ruh. It was built exclusively for the Waffen SS. Chambered for 9mm cartridge and fitted with a 7.75" barrel. Select fire semiauto or full auto. Rate of fire about 650 rounds per minute. Magazine capacity is 24-or 32-round box magazine. Built from 1933 to about 1944. Weight is about 9 lbs." - Schwing
