Object Description:

FRENCH BAYONET MODEL 1892 SN# G74736
Manufactured in France - First pattern. Produced for short rifle, the M1892 Mannlicher-Berthier. Equipped with hard, black composition grips affixed by two rivets. 14" fuller running to 1" of tip. Complete with 16 1/4' scabbard. Blemishes on blade otherwise in good condition. Bayonet once attached to SPAR-1224.

Notes: Intended for use by railroad troops, mounted and telegraph units.
