Object Description:
POWDER FLASK
Made in England - Brass powder flask with common brass charger top, unmarked, but believed to be of Birmingham manufacture. Body has raised design on both sides of running hare within scrollwork panel. Flash has two carrying rings. Dented body, spring broken. In generally fair condition.
Powder flask donated to the Springfield Armory NHS by Tufts University (Victor A. Friend Collection) on 3 August 1979.
Friend's #A-21 - "Copper Powder Flask. 5 1/2 inch. Raised fancy design with running rabbit in center. Brass graduated nozzle."
