Object Description:

POWDER FLASK
Maker unknown - Heavy copper powder flask, unmarked, with common adjustable charger spout and two carrying rings. Body of flask decorated in relief with stag head and flower. Spring missing, spout spilt and one carrying ring loose.

Powder flask donated to the Springfield Armory NHS by Tufts University (Victor A. Friend Collection) on 3 August 1979.

Friend's #A-23 - "Copper Powder Flask. 6 inch. Raised flower and leaf design and deer's head. Brass charger nozzle."
