Object Description:
POWDER FLASK
Manufactured by American Flask & Cap Co., Waterbury, Ct. - Slightly larger version of SPAR-7955, but made by their successor, the American Flask & Cap. Co. Copper body with unscrewable common top and adjustable charger. Has four carrying rings. Body on both sides has shell motif. See Riling's POWDER FLASK BOOK #389.

Friend's #A-40 - "Copper Powder Flask. 7 1/2 inch. Scallop shell design. Graduated, brass charger. Has two pairs of rings for carrying cord. Marked 'American Flask & Cap Company.'"
