Object Description:

POWDER FLASK
Maker unknown - Inexpensive copper powder flask with common top and adjustable charger. Two rings. Unmarked. Body of flask has foliage design similar to Riling #671. Spring and thumb piece missing. Large spilt in seam at bottom of flask. Fair condition. See Riling's POWDER FLASK BOOK #671.

Flask donated to the Springfield Armory NHS by Tufts University (Victor A. Friend Collection) on 3 August 1979.

Friend's #A-43 - "Copper Powder Flask. 7 1/2 inch. Large leaf design. Brass graduated charger nozzle."
