GERMAN PISTOL WALTHER PP 7.65MM SN# 193993P
Manufactured by Walther, Zella-Mehlis, Germany - Commercial version of German, blow-back operated, semi-automatic pistol with 8-round detachable box magazine. Blued finish with two-piece black checkered plastic grips. Loaded chamber indicator, double action. 6-groove rifling; right hand twist. Safety acts as hammer release when released. Weapon weighs approximately 24.5 oz. unloaded. Weapon complete with 8-round detachable box magazine and in excellent condition. PP = Polizei Pistole.

Notes: "Introduced as a pistol for uniformed police, it was the first successful application of the double-action principle which Walther then adapted to the P-38.
