SPANISH PISTOL STAR MODEL B 9MM SN# B244533
Manufactured by Bonifacio Echeverria, Eibar, Spain - Standard semi-automatic pistol with 8-round magazine feed mechanism made in Spain for Germany during WWII. Blued finish with two-piece checkered wood grips. Close copy of the U.S. M1911. No grip safety. Shipped to Germany on 5/29/1944. Magazine missing. This model was introduced in 1928.

Frame: Spanish proofs. Right side: Eagle/WaA320. JD scratched on. Butt area: B/244533.
Slide: F PATR 08/STAR-SA/CONTINUADORA DE/B. ECHEVERRIA/Starburst. CAL 9MM. Spanish final pistol proof mark.
Barrel: CAL. 08 Spanish final pistol proof mark.
Triggerguard: Spanish final pistol proof mark.
Right grip: JD scratched into.
