Object Description:

BELGIAN PISTOL FN MODEL 1922 (P626(b)) 7.65MM SN# 50648a
Manufactured by Fabrique Nationale, Liege, Belgium - Identical to FN M1910 except has longer grip frame, longer barrel, and longer magazine. Equipped with 9-round feed mechanism. Late type with wood grips. Weapon weighs approximately 25 oz. Magazine missing otherwise complete and in fair condition.

Markings:
Frame: WaA 140, German acceptance stamp. Right side: 50648a.
Slide: H in circle. WaA140. FABRIQUE NATIONALE D'ARMES DE GUERRE, HERSTAL BELGIQUE/ BROWNING PATENT DEPOSE.
Barrel: German acceptance marks/50648a.
Triggerguard: MR

Weapon transferred to the Museum from the Aberdeen Museum on 30 March 1960.
