Notes: "Patented by Heinrich Ortgies in 1916-18 but only made in quantity after the end of the First World War, this blowback pistol is distinguished by its grip safety. Unlike most patterns, which spring back when hand pressure is relaxed, the Ortgies safety must be unlocked manually with a button on the left side of the frame - above the grip - which doubles as a stripping catch. Pressing the button allows the slide to be drawn back, lifted, then run forward and off the frame. The barrel may be detached simply by turning it around its vertical axis through 90 degrees." - Zhuk
