GERMAN PISTOL SAUER MODEL 1930 7.65MM SN# 222722
Manufactured by J.P. Sauer & Sohn, Suhl, Germany - Standard Sauer Model 1930 semi-automatic pistol. Blowback-operated. Blued finish with black composition grips. Fixed blade front, fixed V-notch rear sight. Round notch combined with dismounting catch pinned to rib on slide ahead of bolt cap rear sight. 6-groove rifling; right hand twist. Weapon equipped with 7-round detachable box magazine. Weapon weighs approximately 1.6 lbs. with empty magazine.

Barrel: Crown/N.
Grip: CAL. 7.65mm/S&S in circle.

Notes: Commercial sale and distribution, no official military use although reported as substitute standard for police. Offered for test to German Ordnance as substitute standard. Reported as police weapon.
